Nautilus: Luxury Cape Town Self Catering Accommodation
Description of Property
The imposing three-level Abalone villa reflects its name as it occupies a mountainside site with superb seascape views over Camps Bay. The design reflects the environmental textures of its rocky backdrop while maximising exterior living space and incorporating saltwater pools and jacuzzis.
The ingenious versatility of this six-bedroom villa and one bedroom apartment allows for multiple separate and self-contained luxury accommodation solution. The design is wrought in indigenous natural materials of signature ‘balau’ timber decking and in the interior travertine tiling and caesar-stone.
The villa is environmentally-friendly in minimising water use by means of an electronically controlled watering system, rain-water tank irrigation recycling and rooftop solar panels.
In short, all bedrooms have air-conditioners and enjoy sea-views with direct decking access while having LCD TVs installed with digital DSTV channels in common with the communal living areas. All bathrooms and kitchens have underfloor heating and heated towel-rails. There is garaging for four cars with off-street parking for a further five. A ‘Paradox’ security system serves all combinations of rented alternatives with separate alarm and entry systems. There is also a separate service entrance for staff and maintenance.
All three lounges have large plasmas, DVD players, CD players and I-pod docking stations. A separate study is equipped with a computer and wireless internet access is throughout all levels of the house. While the villa sleeps 14, there are 2 sleeper couches which can extend the sleeping arrangement to 18 if needed. |
